Get Help

Our volunteers can help a small number of cats in their own homes from around the Syracuse area, based on available space and resources. Unfortunately, we cannot take most of the cats we are contacted about.

If you are looking to find care for a stray or surrendered pet or if you have feral cats you need help trapping, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

If you want to volunteer to foster cats in your home, please visit our volunteer page.

We are all volunteers and have no shelter building. Cats are cared for in our own homes and we take in new cats when we can afford to.
We cannot guarantee that someone will be able to take in a cat, but we will do our best to help find foster care.
Donations of supplies or money are greatly appreciated if we help you with a cat. You can give any donation directly to the volunteer who helps you since many expenses come out of their own pocket.

Donations can be given directly to the individual who helps you with the cat or can be mailed to CNYCC at PO Box 6182, Syracuse, NY 13217. You can also make a donation via credit card through PayPal.

Ability to donate does not impact which cats get help.
