Our cats live in volunteer foster homes in the Syracuse area and can be adopted directly from foster care, or through one of our three adoption centers. If you haven’t found the right cat yet, fill out our application and let us know what you’re looking for and we can help find you a great match.
Applicants must be 21 to adopt.
Adoption Fees
• Kittens under 10 months: $160
• Cats 10 months and older: $120
Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, distemper and rabies vaccines, microchips (with free lifetime registration), FeLV/FIV testing, and worm and flea treatments. Additional donations are always welcome, as our fees cover only a portion of the expenses required to get cats ready for adoption, which can cost up to $200, not including additional bills for sick or injured animals, and costs for food, litter, and supplies.
Please note that since not all applications work out, we continue to take applications on a cat until one is approved. This means a cat you’re interested in may already have pending applications.
Adoption Centers
CNYCC is a proud adoption partner of PetSmart Charities and Petco Love! You can meet some of our adoptable cats and kittens at the Clay and Fairmount PetSmart adoption centers and in the Luna Cat Cafe.
